Housed in the Fr. Charles O’Reilly Center of Divine Mercy Parish, the Blackstone Millville Food Pantry serves the needy of Blackstone and Millville by providing food and other basic essentials.
The Food Pantry is located in the Parish Center at Divine Mercy Parish, and is open on Tuesdays from 7-8PM and on Saturdays from 10-11AM to residents of Blackstone and Millville. Residents are required to have a photo ID and proof of residency.
Donations for the Food Pantry are always welcome. Non-perishable food items and toiletries can be dropped off at the Rectory during office hours or at the Church during Masses. All check donations should be made out to the Blackstone-Millville Food Pantry. The Food Pantry participates in the Worcester County Food Bank and Project Share.
Volunteers are always needed to assist in this important ministry.
Food Pantry Contacts:
The last weekend of every month is “Got Food Sunday?” at Divine Mercy Parish.
Parishioners are encouraged to bring in donations of non-perishable food items and place them in the receptacles at the St. Mary Shrine in the Church’s sanctuary. All of our donations are given to the Blackstone-Millville Food Pantry for distribution.
“Got Food Sunday?” is an integral part of our Parish’s commitment to perform the works of mercy and to reach out to our local needy. We firmly believe the words of Jesus who said: “Whatsoever you do for the least of mine, you do for Me.” (Matthew 25:40)
