Q: When is the retreat?
A: Friday evening 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm
Sunday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
Monday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30pm
Q: Do I have to attend the whole retreat, or can I just come to one day?
A: You need to attend the whole retreat because each experience builds on the one before it
to lead you into a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Q: Can anyone attend this retreat?
A: It is recommended for all persons 18 years and older. Exceptions are possible.
Q: Where will the retreat be held?
A: The retreat will be held in the Parish Center (in the school building) at St. Paul’s Catholic
Church at 48 St Paul Street in Blackstone, Mass.
Q: How much does the retreat cost?
A: The retreat is free… However we do encourage donations to offset the cost of
providing your meals.
Q: Do I need to register for the retreat or can I just show up?
A: You do need to register. There are a limited number of spaces available so be sure to register soon.

Q: Are our meals provided during the retreat?
A: Yes, refreshments are provided for the Friday evening session. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner,
and Snacks are provided Saturday & Sunday. Dinner & Dessert on Monday evening.
Q: Do we stay overnight?
A: No, you return home to your family and sleep in your own bed each night allowing you to return refreshed for the next day’s experiences.
Q: What do I need to bring to the retreat?
A: Nothing but an open heart and an open mind…

Q: What happens at the retreat?
A: The retreat consists of a number of enlightening talks on a variety of Christian topics, several
sessions where you gather in small groups to discuss the talks, periods of Adoration of the Blessed
Sacrament, singing, the sharing of meals and friendship, prayer, Reconciliation & Mass.
Q: Why should I attend this retreat?
A: The Light of the World retreat will instruct and enlighten you in order to form a more personal
and loving relationship with Christ Jesus as well as with your parish family.
The retreat will help to give you the skills to be a better evangelizer of the Gospel message.
Q: What happens after the retreat?
A: Many who attend the Light of the World retreat choose to continue to attend six additional
meetings, held once a week on a weeknight, to help you prepare to join a “Small Faith Group”.
These groups then typically meet twice a month, continuing to share in fellowship and following the path of evangelization.
