It is most appropriate that it is held during the Easter Season. There is no better time than Easter to celebrate the protection of our most valuable gift from God—our children. Nationally, more than 2 million reports of abuse or neglect of minors are made each year. Only a small percentage is ever reported. Learn how to spot suspected abuse or neglect, and how to report it to the proper authorities.

Child Safety Tip: Teach your child to respect the word “stop!” Teach them that they have the right to stop people from harming them. Communicate your safety concerns to your children. Make sure they know they can come to you with any concerns they may have
